Occupied Jerusalem- The Inside Palestine- The Israeli occupation police on Saturday issued a decision banning Sheikh Isam Amirah, a noted Jerusalemite religious figure, from entering the Aqsa Mosque for six months.

According to informed sources, the Israeli police took such measures against Sheikh Amirah over his khutbas (sermons) at the Aqsa Mosque.

Last Sunday, the Israeli police summoned Sheikh Amirah and interrogated him over a khutba he delivered about the French insults against Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Sheikh Amirah is a prominent religious figure and reformer in the holy city and has been arrested and prevented from entering the Aqsa Mosque several times before.
