Occupied Jerusalem (The Inside Palestine)- The Israeli police forces arrested 6 Palestinian young men in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday evening.

Four youths were detained when clashes erupted in al-Tur town after being stormed by the Israeli police forces. Another young man was stopped and arrested at Bab Al-Mutahara in the Old City.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces detained hundreds of vehicles near the Qalandia village roundabout, north of the occupied city.

A young man was also rounded up at the roundabout after seizing his vehicle.

Also in Occupied Jerusalem, clashes broke out in Bayt Ijza village when Israeli forces brutally suppressed a protest vigil calling for the release of Palestinian martyrs’ bodies.

Teargas and sound bombs were fired during the clashes.

Long denounced as collective punishment, Israel’s practice of refusing to return Palestinian dead bodies to their families has resumed since 2015.

105 Palestinian bodies are currently held in Israeli morgues.
